Examplify for Bar 2026: Official Digital Exam Guidance Explained

During Bar examination week, a software question needs a precise source. Advice written for another institution, another year, or another Examplify release may not apply to the Philippine Bar.

The Supreme Court’s August 12 digital modality notice adopts Examplify for Bar 2026 and requires version 3.10.0 for Windows or Mac, subject to the stated minimum system requirements. The Court also publishes its own Examplify User Guide. Start with those documents when checking your preparation.

The version and preparation deadlines are specific to Bar 2026

The digital notice set August 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. as the deadline to download, install, and register the software on the intended examination laptop. It also described two mandatory sample examinations: an asynchronous examination available from August 12 and due August 28 at 5:00 p.m., and a synchronous examination on August 22 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Those dates are already past at the time of this September 6 article. They are included to explain the preparation notices, not to suggest that registration or sample-exam completion remains open. If an account or compliance issue remains unresolved, seek official assistance; do not assume that completing an old step now creates an extension or restores access.

Use the guide as a map to the task in front of you

The guide’s contents separate log-in credentials, installation, version checks, registration, and the dashboard from later sections about downloading an exam, starting an exam, and the examination interface. It also has sections for submitting and uploading an exam and confirming a successful upload. These distinctions matter: completing one stage does not mean every later stage is complete.

Use section names when navigating: the PDF viewer’s page count and the printed page labels are not always the same. Read the instructions and the accompanying screenshots together. A screenshot detached from its heading may describe a different stage of the process.

Before entering the testing center

The Court’s September 4 reminders say to download the AM and PM examinations and memorize log-in credentials before entering the Local Testing Center. Share sensitive account details only through the designated official support process. Avoid posting login credentials or examination content in a public group.

When something does not match the guide

Do not treat an unrelated internet tutorial as permission to reinstall software, change system security settings, bypass a restriction, or restart an examination process. Use the help route stated in the Court’s notice and follow authorized personnel’s instructions at the testing center. The August 12 notice identifies the Office of the Bar Confidant’s help desk for Examplify concerns.
